The Motoring Centre

The Motor Trade is in our blood, with our family having sold cars, or run garages, for the last 3 generations. We are a family-owned and run business, with Marc (the Owner), his mother Gina, and son, Matt.

Marc’s father Ken began selling cars in Coventry in the 1960’s. Growing up around garages and cars, Marc’s path was set from an early age. He started off at 16, selling one car from his drive, and after striving hard to develop his trade, it has flourished into a multifaceted, and locally renowned family business. After a couple of years Marc outgrew the small space that he shared with his dad and moved to his first garage in Warwick, specialising in Minis, called ‘Mini Motoring Centre’. We still have a cherished 1964 Mini which Marc had to keep as it was manufactured the same year he was born. As we started to sell more and more cars, space became lacking. So, in 1990 we moved our site to Leamington Spa, and have stayed ever since.

Gina has been part of the business from the very start and has helped Marc to run and grow the business. At 85 she still works 6 days a week and is always the first one there in the morning. Matt joined the team 11 years ago, aged 18 and is now a father himself. Initially cleaning cars, and doing some collection/deliveries, he now buys all our stock, and manages the prep and logistics for new cars coming in.
